Seven Falls (Eli Hatha) is a group of waterfalls in the Meemure Valley, this is not a series seven cacades in one row, as the falls are formed by two streams meeting just in the middle of the group. Be aware, apart from the "Seven Falls" of Knuckles Range, formed by the Mee Oya, there is another group of waterfalls called "Eli Hatha", which is situated in Peak Wilderness, almost at the opposite end of Sri Lanka's hillcountry.
Seven Falls of Knuckles Range is situated 7 km (4 miles) south of the center (Bo tree) of the Meemure village and 6 km north of Corbett's Gap. It's not far from the only access road to Meemure, which runs from Hunnasgiriya via Deanston and Corbett's Gap. However, you cannot see the falls from the road. Rather, you have to walk down a 100 m (300 feet) very steep jungle path to reach the falls. The largest falls of the group are the uppermost ones which are most tricky to reach, as you have to cross two streambeds to reach it. The lowermost falls, however, are just below the point where the jungel path arrives at the streambed. The latter fall into a small canyon from three sides. However, in contrast to the six other waterfalls of the Eli Hatha group, the lowermost are not entirely natural, as the pond above the falls is artificially enlarged by a small dam.

This is an area for adventure holidays. The central ponds close to the meeting point of the two streams have two of the three safe jumping rocks near Meemure (the third one is located near the more famous sliding rock). Safe jumping or confident jumping means you can be sure, that the water level below the rock is always deep enough and has no hidden sharp stones at the bottom of the pool. The 4 feet jump is not a challenge. However, the 11 feet jump should not be done without the support of a qualified lifeguard, who can assess the risks of surprising flash floods and who has to inspect the intensity of the currents and also the ground of the pool, whether there are any thorny twigs floated into it.
There are camping sites close to the Seven Falls, which are called Mini Cave Camp and Ash Cave Camp. From this area, you can also hike to Nitro Cave.
