The Knuckles Mountain Range to the northeast of Kandy is Sri Lanka’s best trekking area, particularly for those interested in multi-day camping tours. Easy half-day hiking routes are available, too. The Sinhala name of Knuckles Range is Dumbara Kanduvetiya, meaning “misty hillcountry”.
Believe it or not, all three images show Mount Lakegala in Knuckles Range, but from different angles.
