The concept of this guided tour holiday tour mainly by car or van is to allow you to experience a maximum diversity of modes of transport, viz. boat, bicycle, public bus, train, jeep. The round tour includes three safaris in two national parks and full days for beach relaxation.

The safaris will take place in Minneriya (or Kaudulla, depending on the season) and Yala, which are Sri Lanka's most famous national parks for watching elephants and leopards respectively. The route crosses the Cultural Triangle crowded with heritage sites and the hill country well known for tea plantations as well as the coastal areas of the deep south of the island. The final night will be spent at Tangalle Beach.

Transfer from the airport to Negombo Beach

day 02

morning "katamaran" tour in a traditional Oruwa outrigger fishing boat,
optional in the lagoon or on the ocean;
afterwards transfer to Mihintale near Anuradhapura via Wariyapola,
lunch in a local restaurant in this first day of traveling is included in the price,
in the afternoon you will visit the lonesome archaeological site of Haththikuchchi,
which is shredded in mystery and embedded in a quaint natural setting

day 03

morning transfer in your private vehicle to Anuradhapura World Heritage Site,
which cou will explore by foot bike with the help of a local guide,
who will show you all the highlights such as Bo tree, giant stupas, ancient carvings and more
After the sightseeing tour by bike the guide will bring you to the bus station
and help you to enter the correct public bus for a 15 km ride back to Mihintale,
transfer from Mihintale bus station to the guesthouse

morning excursion to Tantirimale,
an idyllic pigrimage site, see the nation's second largest historical reclining Buddha, 
in the afternoon you will explore Mihintale by a local Tuctuc,
visiting not only the famous Ambasthale dagoba but also less-known places
after sunset enjoy a cooking class in the kitchen of First House Mihintale

day 05

in the morning visit the Aukana Buddha,
which is the largest (though not tallest) rock-cut statue of Sri Lanka,
it is greeting the rising sun and therefore best visited in the morning
in the afternnon you will enjoy a jeep safari,
which will take place at a lake where a herd of dozens or even hundreds of wild elephants
comes to a lake for their afternoon bath

we visit Sigiriya in the very early morning hours,
starting at 6.00 am, to enjoy the freshest air and avoid the crowds,
around noon you will take part in a village tour,
studying traditional farming methods
and enjoying a local lunch included in the tour costs,
afterwards visit of an Ayurvedic center
with opportunities to experience a massage of your choice

day 07

in the morning visit Dambulla, which is a World Heritage Site,
the very best example of a typical Sinhale cave temple,
afterwards you will visit a Spice and Herbal Garden,
lunch in the garden is included in the tour costs,
afterwards proceed to Kandy,
where you will enjoy an evening dinner at the Senani view point,
from where you can see the Tooth Temple at the Kandy Lake

entire day in Kandy for
city tour and shopping opportunities,
starting 9.00 am at the gem museum
in the afternoon visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya
late afternoon visit of the world-famous Tooth Temple

Gadaladeniya is famous for medieval paintings,

and enjoy a lake walk at Kandy Lake

this day is reserved for the unique experience of a train journey
through the island's tea highlands,
the railroad from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya is
one of the most scenic routes in the world
your guide will drop you to the Kandy Railway Station
and pick you up at Nanu Oya Station near Nuwara Eliya
